GDUSA PACKAGE DESIGN COMPETITION

GDUSA says that this is the fastest-growing of GDUSA's national design competitions for a simple reason: Marketers are challenged as never before to convey their message and promote their brand in an era of tight budgets, fragmented audiences and intense competition. Package design is increasingly the difference when the purchasing decision is on the line. There are two dozen categories, including Sustainable Packaging. The deadline for American Package Design Awards submissions is December 10.

By the way, do you like the site layout? What do you think about the standard looking ads?

AMERICAN PACKAGE DESIGN AWARDS
Packaging, Point-of-Sale and Visual Merchandising

DEADLINE: December 10, 2009

NeenahGraphic Design USA invites you to join the thousands of creative professionals who have been part of its national competitions over four decades. The goal is to spotlight areas of growth and opportunity for graphic designers, recognize the best work being done, and emphasize the value of design to business and society.

The American Package Design Awards is the fastest growing of these programs.

The reason is simple but profound: marketers are challenged as never before to convey their message and promote their brand in an era of fragmented audiences, global competition and tight budgets. Package design and its related disciplines are increasingly the difference makers in the purchasing decision. This competition celebrates well-designed graphics, of course, but more importantly the power of design to advance the brand and forge an emotional link with the buyer at the moment of truth.

Winners receive an embossed Certificate of Excellence for each piece selected and become eligible for reproduction in the GDUSA American Package Design Awards Annual that appears March 2010 in print and online, seen by 100,000+ graphics, marketing and business decisionmakers.
