"Creating Visual Intrigue"
Award winning artist Diana Graham was hired to design the marketing program in New York. When challenged with a "cold looking" building to market, she decided to use an unique way to market it. Inspired by artist Magritte, she designed a paint the "fence" that was legally required during building construction. Her goal was to get the interest of the many sophisticated New Yorkers who passed by on a daily basis. She used the theories of "cone of vision" to add depth by placing a variety of repetitive pictures (the man and the clouds) of different sizes in different locations. The result was an image that resembled men "raining" from the sky and a lot of notice from passer byers.
