Depth

What you are actually looking at is a person (in the distance)
through the cartridge of a running shoe.
This was used in as part of an ad campaign for
New Balance running shoes.

This is an example of one point perspective of depth.
The cone of vision is seen through the green shoe part which
also serves as an outline for a picture plane. There is one vanishing point,
as seen in the black space and it is presented at eye level to the viewer.
If we were to use a cube, the vertical and horizontal lines would
run parallel with the edges of the paper.
