For each entry in your blog, write one paragraph describing your selection:
* Describe what it is- Newton Running's new titanium shoe package. It is made out od molded paper pulp- like an egg carton, in the shape of a pair of nested shoes. The packaging is light weight, space saving and totally compostable.
* Describe its function- sort of like a shoe box.
* Describe where you saw it- Design Annual 49 of Communication Arts
* Discuss the style of the design & typography- Very environmentally minded, like many of the potential purchasers of the product.
* Discuss the quality of the artwork- There really is no artwork other than the package design. I think this may one of the points of the project. Simplicity.
* Discuss what attracted you to the piece- DUH, it's so darn practical. Makes a lot of sense. Almost makes me forget that I've never heard of the product manufacturer.
