The Birds

I found this neat looking artwork in the Illustration Annual 49 of Communication Arts.
Dave Cutler illustrated this and Alfred Hall, College of Charleston Magazine", was the art director.

Alzheimer's "The illustration was commissioned for an article about how the environment can affect the physiology of patients"

The illustration shows birds flying away from the tree. The whole of the naked tree resembles a head with all of the birds on in. If you have ever known anyone with Alzheimer's disease you would be able to see the implication that this picture has with what seems to happen to the mind of the sufferer.
