Monica's Pizza just replaced their old, familiar sign with this new one.
The colors are bright, the tomato pops out at you, there is plenty of
repetition (stripes and dots in the letters), and well-working proximity.
Notice the letters in "Restaurant" create a pattern and a balance
due to their alternating sizes.
The double-take given by those who pass by reminds the public that
Monical's is still there.

Is that the Mahomet Monical's? Yeah--I love their new signs--very classy. Somebody knew what they were doing! Our new Monical's in Mahomet is quite a step up from the old one--quite nice now. The use of purple was an unexpected addition and really works. The old burgundy and forest green were a bit tired. Now they've got some zip!
